Christian Ministries International is a Christian ministry serving in the United States and Malawi. Our purpose is rooted in the Great Commission: to proclaim Jesus Christ, make disciples, strengthen the Church, and equip people for Christian service.
CMI seeks to combine biblical teaching with practical ministry. We believe strong local churches are built through faithful proclamation of Scripture, mature Christian leadership, discipleship, prayer, and compassionate service.
The ministry connects leadership and resources in the United States with locally led ministry in Malawi. In Malawi, Pastor Charles Mwase provides local pastoral leadership in Lilongwe. In the United States, Pastor Joseph Chetty provides ministry oversight and administration.
Our guiding mandate is the command of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19 to go and make disciples of all nations. CMI seeks to carry out that calling with faithfulness, integrity, accountability, and respect for the local church.
