Malawi is the nation CMI is privileged to serve. This visual introduction shows where Malawi is located and gives a quick picture of the country, its people, and the rural Lilongwe area where our ministry is based.
For Christian Ministries International, Malawi is much more than a place on a map. Our partnership in the rural Lilongwe area is centered on strengthening the local church, biblical teaching and discipleship, caring for children, and serving the community in practical ways.
Pastor Charles Mwase provides local pastoral leadership in Malawi, while CMI in the United States helps provide ministry support, resources, and administration.
The ministry's land in Lilongwe has already been purchased and fully paid for through the generosity of donors. Our immediate building focus is a temporary church structure where the congregation can worship while the long-term building vision develops.
