CMI's Malawi ministry is led by Pastor Charles Mwase in Lilongwe. The work is centered on the local church, Christian discipleship, biblical teaching, leadership development, and practical service.
As the ministry grows, CMI seeks to strengthen the congregation and help develop resources that serve both the church and the wider community.
Local leadership. Biblical ministry. Practical compassion.

Pastor Charles Mwase provides local leadership for Christian Ministries International in Malawi. Based in Lilongwe, he oversees the ministry’s work among the local church and surrounding community, including discipleship, ministry development, and the work of Blessed Hope Christian School.
He works in partnership with Pastor Joseph Chetty and Christian Ministries International in the United States as CMI seeks to strengthen the local church, equip Believers, and serve families and children in the community.
The local ministry also operates a nursery school serving young children in the community.

Some of the children come from single-parent homes, while others are orphans. Families are asked to contribute a small fee where they are able, helping the school continue its work.
On some days the children are provided with porridge. Many families have limited resources, and some children do not yet have a school uniform.
Pastor Charles has asked friends of the ministry to remember the school, its children, and those who care for them in prayer.
Christian ministry reaches beyond the walls of a church building. These simple meals are one expression of care for children connected with the nursery school.

Building a worshiping community grounded in Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and Christian witness.
Providing accessible biblical teaching and training resources for pastors, leaders, and Believers.
Serving children and families through practical expressions of Christian compassion, including the nursery school.
